Small Group Tours - Meeting Point
CHECK-IN TIME
It is mandatory to check in 15 minutes prior tour departure time:
– 7:45am if your tour departs at 8:00am
– 8:45am if your tour departs at 9:00am
– 2:15pm if your tour departs at 2:30pm
Late arrivals (after the checkin time) are considered as a no-show (no refund)
MEETING POINT ADDRESS
The meeting point address is Piazzale Montelungo, (Montelungo Square) in Florence – at the bottom of the red brick building/tower (30 ft high), in front of the parking lot.
It takes approx. 8 minutes by walk, from the Florence Santa Maria Novella Train Station, and if you are not familiar with the area, we highly recommend to allow plenty of time.
Please note: the meeting point is just a bus terminal with no facilities, so we highly recommend dressing appropriately (there are no shelter to repair in case of rain) and arrive all set because there are no restrooms, bars, etc.
HOW TO GET THERE
By taxi:
ask the driver to bring you directly to Piazzale Montelungo (NOT Piazzale Michelangelo)
Please note: if you need a taxi to reach the meeting point, reserve it in advance, to be sure they are available, not on strike, etc. and there is no UBER.
By walk from the Florence Santa Maria Novella Train Station:
leave the Train Station on your left, and walk towards Via Valfonda (Valfonda street), staying on the left side of the street.
At the end of Via Valfonda, go to the traffic light on your left and across the street in front of you (Viale Filippo Strozzi), turn left, and walk till the corner, then turn right and go straight for approx. 100 meters (110 yards).
There is a parking lot in front of you. The meeting point is on the left side of the street, at the bottom of the red brick building/tower (30 ft high).

Please note: the itinerary passing inside the train station (along the last platform) is accessible only if you arrive by train, and you do not exit the platform area
HOW TO RECOGNIZE YOUR TOUR
Look for a red flag or the checkin table with the PRESTIGE RENT logo.
Important: even if you booked through Viator, TripAdvisor, GetYourGuide, etc. when you arrive at the meeting point, ask for PRESTIGE RENT (that’s us, the provider of your tour).
RETURN TIME
- Wine Tasting Experience (half day – morning option) departure at 9:00am – return at Piazzale Montelungo around 1:45pm
- Wine Tasting Experience (half day – afternoon option) departure at 2:30pm – return at Piazzale Montelungo around 7:00pm
- Wine & Food Experience (full day) departure at 9:00am – return at Piazzale Montelungo around 5:00pm
- Siena & San Gimignano (full day) departure at 8:00am – return at Piazzale Montelungo around 5:00pm
Important: if you have to reserve other activities, train tickets, restaurants, etc., please allow plenty of time, in case of heavy traffic, unforeseen circumstances, etc.
LUGGAGE
If needed, you can bring your luggage on the tour; the driver will store them on the bus
WEATHER
All our tours run rain or shine, so please dress appropriately for the weather.
