SIENA
Start your private day with a panoramic one-hour drive through the Tuscan countryside. Then stop in Siena and explore the fascinating medieval city birthplace of beloved Italian Saint Catherine.
Ancient city made of brown Siena-colored bricks, a jumble of narrow streets and picturesque squares, medieval towers, spectacular cathedral and the tall and trim Torre del Mangia. A journey into an enticing atmosphere almost like stepping back in time.
Piazza del Campo
Siena was built on three hills and is home to one of the most authentic and important Gothic cathedrals south of the Alps. Admire the city’s architectural masterpieces, the unusual shell-shaped Piazza del Campo which beauty has been entrapped in many films and photographs.
Palio horserace
In Piazza del Campo, a brick-covered square twice a year takes place the ‘Palio’ horserace. It involves all the local population and it is considered one of the most important events in the life of the Senese people. Almost anything will be done to win this extremely competitive race and bring home the ‘Palio’, a silk banner proudly displayed in the ‘contrada’ or neighborhood it represents.

The wine tasting at Emma’s was outstanding. Francesca did a great job and made the tasting a fun event. Guissepi was a good driver and tour guide. I expected a little more conversation, he was quite quiet but think the language may have been a barrier. I would still strongly recommend.
Alex our driver was fantastic. He was on time picking us up and was very knowledgeable on Florence and the various regions in Tuscany. We enjoyed our stops in Greve for some quick tuscan meats, as well as our winery tasting and trip to Siena. I would highly recommend this service to anyone looking for a day trip to Chianti!
