PORTOFINO
The first stop is in Portofino, a place where artists from all over the world have always gathered. The deep blue of the sea shines the pastel-colored façades of the buildings and the surrounding vegetation.
All is lighter and brighter here in Portofino! Its small port is a symphony of colors, small boats ferries and yachts, people and nature all perfectly matching in this splendid atmosphere.
Full of history
Portofino has ancient origins and still today you can admire remains of the Roman era. Visit the 11th century oval-shaped Church of St Martin, the Church of San Giorgio on the cliff overlooking the sea. Admire the 12th century Castello Brown built to protect the town from the Saracen pirates. End with a walk to Punta del Capo Lighthouse offering a striking view.
SANTA MARGHERITA LIGURE
Your private tour continues to another Ligurian gem, famous for its beauty and giant prawns which take their name from Santa Margherita itself!
A small port forms the core of this delightful town, with fishing boats and vessels. Visit Villa Durazzo-Centurione, two villas with a large 17th-century park and a garden with a cobbled square in typical Ligurian style.
Discover Castello di Santa Margherita Ligure from 1550, at the seafront promenade and finally, the ancient Abbazia della Cervara, a monastic complex from 1361 on the cliff with a garden in English style.
