Drive through the Chianti Wine Road

With your private car and driver, journey to the beautiful Tuscan countryside following the Chianti Wine Road that winds between olive groves,  vineyards and rolling hills.

Greve in Chianti

Stop in Greve in Chianti, the most important village of Chianti Classico. Birthplace of the famous Tuscan explorer Giovanni da Verrazzano, the Tuscan who discovered the New York Harbor and had a bridge named after him.

There is a statue of Giovanni da Verrazzano here in the Piazza Matteotti, a gently sloping square hub of life in Greve. Around this square under the graceful porticoes you will see many local shops and wine stores. The famous butcher shop Falorni is here and it has been for 500 years!

Panzano in Chianti and San Donato

Continuing the drive through amazing landscapes, you will pass the village of Panzano in Chianti with its Santa Maria Church dominating the valley, until you reach the area of San Donato, the heart of Chianti Classico countryside.

Wine tasting in a winery

Stop at a hilltop winery for a visit followed by a wine tasting. After the visit, the day will proceed according to your needs: you can stop for lunch at some nice, good, local restaurant, where you will have the chance to enjoy a truly authentic and tasty Tuscan meal (not included).

Or you may choose to visit other wine estates, have some food there or simply continue exploring Tuscany and visit other villages like Castellina in Chianti, Radda in Chianti, Monteriggioni, etc.

At the end of your day in Chianti visiting Tuscan wineries and ancient villages, after a relaxing drive your private driver will drop you off at your accommodation in Florence.
