Group size: tour runs with a minimum of 6 participants.

Age: infants and younger than 12 are not allowed on the small group option; the semiprivate option is for adults only (over 18) . Contact us for alternative options.

Activity level: very easy. Limited walking and few stairs.
However, due to uneven surfaces and stairs, the tour is not suitable for people with wheelchairs or walking disabilities.

Driving time: about 45 mins. each way, for a total of 90 mins.

Sightseeing time: approx. 3 hours (1.5 hrs at each winery).

Wines tasted: reds which are typical of the Chianti region (Chianti vintage, Riserva, Super Tuscan, etc.). As a plus, depending on the time of the year, production, wineries, etc. you may also taste some rosé or white wine (not guaranteed).

Dietary Friendly: Vegetarian or Gluten-Free? Just let us know at booking; we’ll ensure your snacks are just as delicious.

Luggage: you can bring your luggage and store it safely on our vehicle during the tour.

Restroom: the bus does not have restrooms, however the longest ride on this tour is approx 45 minutes

Language: the tour is in English only. No confusion with multiple languages

What to wear: tour runs rain or shine, please dress accordingly

Check-in time:
– 8:45am (if booked for the 9:00am tour departure)
– 2:15pm (if booked for the 2:30pm tour departure)
Late arrivals are considered no show

Meeting point:
Piazzale Montelungo, (Montelungo Square/bus terminal) – opposite the parking lot.

It takes approx. 8 minutes by walk from the Florence Santa Maria Novella Train Station.
If you are not familiar with the area, please allow plenty of time.

Please note: the meeting point is just a bus terminal with no facilities, so if you want a coffee, use the restroom, do it in advance.

How to recognize your tour:
Look for a red flag/checkin table, with Prestige Rent logo.

If you arrive in advance (good idea!) and you cannot recognize your guide, do not panic: your guide will be there at 8:45am or 2:15pm.

Return time:
The morning tour ends at the meeting point around 2:00pm and the afternoon tour around 7:00pm
If you book other activities, restaurants etc, please allow plenty of time in case of traffic, or unforeseen circumstances.

IMPORTANT:
We cannot hold the tour for late arrivals because it would be disrespectful to other guests. If you need more info contact us in advance, not at the last minute.
If you show up late or cannot find the meeting point for any reason, refunds will not be issued.
Arriving at the right check-in time is the best way to enjoy the experience right from the beginning.

Morning Tour (9:00am departure)

• 8:45am – Check-in at the meeting point
• 9:00am – Depart
• 9:45am – Arrive at the first winery
• 9:45am to 11:15am – Visit and tasting
• 11.30am – Arrive at the second winery
• 11:30am to 1:00pm – Visit and tasting
• 1:00pm – Depart
• 1:45pm – Arrive at the meeting point

Afternoon Tour (2:30pm departure)

• 2:15pm – Check-in at the meeting point
• 2:30pm – Depart
• 3:15pm – Arrive at the first winery
• 3:15pm to 4:45pm – Visit and tasting
• 5:00pm – Arrive at the second winery
• 5:00pm to 6:30pm – Visit and tasting
• 6:30pm – Depart
• 7:15pm – Arrive in Florence
