Explore the historical center delimited by nearly 3000 years old walls, the famous Aurelian walls.

Vatican City and San Pietro square

Heart of Catholic Christianity, Rome is the only city in the world to host a foreign state within its confines: the Vatican City. Walk in the magnificent San Pietro square, explore the richest storehouse of art in the entire world at the Vatican Museums.

See the gilded Papal Canopy suspended over the altar where the Pope celebrates mass, the splendid gilt and the bronze throne in the apse, and one of the best-known pieces of sculpture in the world – the Pietà, Michelangelo’s marble masterpiece.

Sistine Chapel

Walk the magnificent Raphael Rooms that lead to the 15th century Sistine Chapel with an invaluable collection of masterpieces like Michelangelo’s ceiling painting of the ‘Creation of the World’.

The Colosseum

Stop at the Colosseum, the symbol of Rome with almost 2000 years of history, active for over 500 years! The last recorded games were celebrated in the 6th century.

The Colosseum has suffered lootings, earthquakes and even bombings during WW2. Given its great survival capacity, it had been used as a storehouse, church, cemetery and even castle for nobility.
