The itinerary
Wine & Food Experience: The Heart of Chianti Classico
Escape the city for a day of pure Tuscan bliss. This isn’t just a wine tasting; it’s a journey through the soul of Italy’s most famous wine region.
A Journey Through History
Your adventure begins in Florence, where you’ll join a small group of like-minded wine lovers. As we drive south, your knowledgeable guide will introduce you to the secrets of the Chianti Classico region—the land of the “Black Rooster.”
Boutique Cellars & Olive Groves
We’ve hand-picked three distinct wineries to give you a complete overview of Tuscan traditions. At the first estate, you’ll dive into the winemaking process, exploring the farms and cellars before your first tasting. Later, at our third stop, you’ll experience a different philosophy, ensuring you leave as a true Tuscan wine expert.
The Charm of Greve in Chianti No trip is complete without a stop in Greve in Chianti. Admire the unique triangular square and the ancient porticoes of this historic village. Fun fact for our US guests: this is the birthplace of Giovanni da Verrazzano, the explorer who first reached New York Harbor!
A Table Among the Vines The highlight of the day? A long, relaxed lunch at a hilltop winery. We believe great wine belongs with great food. You’ll indulge in a multi-course feast featuring handmade pasta, local pecorino cheeses, and artisanal cold cuts—all served with the warm hospitality that makes Tuscany world-famous. Nothing is rushed; take your time to savor every sip and every view.

A fantastic way to explore the broader Tuscan region. Leo, our driver was awesome, providing history lessons throughout the day about the area as well as the individual wineries we visited. If you’re interested in history & wine, this is the trip you have to take when in Italy.
Four of us joined Jason and Mik and several others on a tour of 3 different Chianti wineries. It was a full day of tasting wine, sampling foods, and laughing and singing with the group. Tuscany is beautiful and the wine and people are wonderful. This was a fun tour.
