A radio story
You may not know that Ducati started its success story in the radio sector.
It’s the beginning of ‘900 when Guglielmo Marconi becomes worldwide famous for inventing the radiotelegraphy.
Adriano Ducati patents a short-wave transmitter able to connect with the United States. In 1926, together with his brothers Bruno and Marcello he creates a radio company: the ‘Società Scientifica Radio Brevetti Ducati’. In 10 years it reaches great success.
The war and restart
However, during World War II the site was bombarded and completely destroyed.
From that ruins the company converted from radio to the motor field and start a new successful era of Ducati as we all know it today.

Arrival location: your accommodation in Milan
Duration: approx 6 hours (i.e. 9:00am pick up – 3:00pm drop off). However, if you’d like to extend your stop or add additional stops you can check availability directly with your driver.
Meeting instructions:
– Airport: your driver will be waiting for you at the exit of the gate, holding a sign with your name on it. In Italy, drivers are not allowed to enter the baggage claim area
– Accommodation: your driver will look for you in the lobby of your hotel.
– Private apartment: meet your driver close to the main door, in the street.
Any different meeting instructions will be notified on your confirmation voucher.
