Birthplace of the Tuscan explorer Giovanni da Verrazzano, the first European to reach the New York Harbor who has a bridge there named after him. A statue of Giovanni da Verrazzano is here in Piazza Matteotti, a gently sloping square and hub of life in Greve village.

Meeting instructions: As soon as you disembark catch one of the free shuttle buses waiting close to the ship, for a 2 minutes ride.
