Meeting instructions:
– Airport: your driver will be waiting for you at the exit of the gate, holding a sign with your name on it. In Italy, drivers are not allowed to enter the baggage claim area
– Accommodation: your driver will look for you in the lobby of your hotel.
– Private apartment: meet your driver close to the main door, in the street.

Is a wine tasting included in the private transfer Florence to Rome via Chianti?
Yes, this private transfer includes a visit to one Chianti winery followed by a wine tasting.
May I choose the winery to include in the transfer stop?
The tour includes a visit to a wine estate according to the logistic of the tour. If you’d like to visit a specific winery, let us know at the time of booking so we can investigate if feasible, their availability and the extra costs (if any).
May I visit more than one winery?
This private transfer via Chianti lasts approx. 6 hours, so it is not possible to fit more than one winery.
If you want to visit more wineries, you need to add extra hours or book our full-day Chianti tour. Contact us and we will give you all the options based on your needs.
Do we taste white wines?
The transfer includes a winery stop located in Chianti Classico, famous area for red wines primarily made with Sangiovese grapes. As a plus, depending on the time of the year and production you may have the chance to also taste some rosé or white wine.
If your main interest is in white wine, let us know so we can arrange an itinerary in a different area.
What is the drinking age in Italy?
The legal drinking age in Italy is 16 years old. However, the law is rarely enforced and it’s socially acceptable to taste wine as long as you are with your parents or in a party with older people.
Are meals included?
Meals are not included in this transfer.
Can I buy/ship wine/olive oil?
Yes. You can buy a few bottles or a larger quantity to ship home. Make sure you know your country’s rules for taking wine back home – every country has different rules.
What is the average temperature in the wine country?
The weather varies depending on the seasons. It can be very hot during the summer months (June, July, August, September) and cold during winter (December, January, February).
What should I bring?
